FAQs
I don’t know what services I need, are you able to help with that?
Yes, our team will work closely with you from the onset to appraise your property and determine what services are suitable or necessary for you.
What can cause a deterioration in my building’s structural integrity?
There is no one answer to this question as deterioration to a building’s structural integrity can be caused by a myriad of factors. Our engineers will only be able to determine the root cause of your building’s structural weakness upon an inspection of your property. However, some of the more common factors leading to structural weakness in a building can include buildups of moisture in the soil underlying a building resulting in the degradation of timber stumps, poorly installed or maintained drainage systems, and soil shrinkage caused by droughts.
What areas do you serve?
We are proud to say that we serve all suburbs in Melbourne.
How do I know that your services are of the highest standards?
We have been providing subfloor services in the Melbourne area since 1999 and our team has amassed over 20 years of experience in this industry. In addition, we provide a 15-year guarantee on all restumping jobs and a 4-year guarantee on all underpinning jobs, so you can rest assured that in the unlikely event that our services are not up to par, we will be there to rectify any issues you might encounter.
My house flooring has become uneven of late. How do I determine if I need reblocking, underpinning or levelling services?
Reblocking caters to buildings that use subfloor stumps as their foundation whereas underpinning caters to buildings that do not use subfloor stumps as their foundation. On the other hand, levelling is more suitable for houses that have concrete stump foundations which are still well maintained and sturdy but still face floor unevenness due to other factors. Every house is unique, however, and our engineers will be able to give you a better sense of the services your house may require after a consultation.
