Why We Value Customer Service

Welcome back to the Extreme Reblocking blog (say that ten times fast). As you’ve probably seen in our previous posts, we’ve been around the industry for more than 20 years, committed to, and passionate about, providing top-notch subfloor services in Melbourne and the surrounding areas ever since we were founded in 1999.

There are a lot of elements that go into a successful company and its longevity, especially in this space. We’re pleased and proud that you have so many options to choose from when it comes to services that reinforce the foundation of your home, but we also know that you should choose us for anything related to reblocking, underpinning and more.

Why is that? You may ask. Beyond the products that we spend a significant amount of time researching and testing, we value customer service above anything else. And that’s what today’s post is all about.

What is customer service? It’s an important question because so many companies view it in such different ways. Some see it as simply picking up the phone when there’s a prospective customer – much more of a transactional approach. At the other end of the spectrum, you have companies like ours that truly see our customers as family, as a part of a community. We KNOW that you have other options and that’s why we want to go the extra mile to get the job done – sure – but to keep the conversation going, long after the work is complete.

A common refrain that you’ll see on this blog and across our site is the fact that we know you could go elsewhere and our gratitude for choosing us. We’re not talking about sweeping your floors or choosing curtains for your living room (although both are important and we’re sure that we’ll cover these in future blog posts). No, we’re talking about the one thing that holds your home up. We may be working with a brand-new property, or we may be working with one that has a storied history and is decades old. Regardless, there is a heap of gratitude coming from us that you’re trusting us with something so important.

It’s crazy to think that even 20 years ago, the number of methods with which to communicate with others was so minimal compared to now.
